Dollie Ann Dalton

Dollie Ann Dalton, 57, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at CAMC General, Charleston, WV.

She was born May 20, 1959 in Huntington, WV, the daughter of Lacy Spry and the late Opal Spry.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents who helped raise her, Noah & Dollie Spry, Pearly Adkins Dolan and Billy Adkins; five infant brothers and sisters and her father-in-law, Ossie Buck Dalton.

Dollie enjoyed spending time with family, praising God and spoiling her grandbabies. She attended Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David “Buddy” Dalton, they would have been celebrating 39 years together on Saturday, August 27; two daughters, Tina and Archie Conley Jr and Tashia and Tommy Mullins; her fur baby, Gizmo; six sisters, Carol (Dan) Bender, Ruby McCoy, Linda (Ernest) Vance, Pearly (James) Vance, Opal (Lee) Rakes, and Barbara (Billy) Bender; four brothers, Lacy (Pam) Spry Jr, Ricky (Mary) Spry, Hubert Spry and Billy Spry; seven grandchildren, Ethan Conley, Dakota Conley, Malin Conley, Taylor Conley, Braxton Browning, Chesney Mullins and Trinity Mullins; her mother-in-law, Tina “Tiny” Dalton; special friends, Butch & Sue Watkins; and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Elbert Collins Jr and David McCloud officiating. Burial will follow at Frank Dalton Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 6 – 11 pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.
