Wilma Jean Aldridge, 83 of Hurricane, WV, formerly of Blair, WV, departed this life on October 23, 2024 at the Hubbard Hospice House, South Charleston, WV.

She was born December 25, 1940 in Virginia the daughter of the late Clarence & Magdline Osborne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Aldridge, one daughter, Cathy (Raymond) Schafer, three sons, Danny Aldridge, Daniel (Rhonda) Aldridge and Billy Aldridge, one sister, Sue, one brother, Jimmy and three grandchildren.

Wilma enjoyed going to church, singing, gardening and her flowers. She loved vacations with her family, spending time with and taking care of her family, Christmas and Christmas lights.

Those left to cherish her memory include four daughters, Teresa Aldridge, Lisa Aldridge, Bernadine (Cliff) Ball and Danielle Aldridge; three sons, Roy (Teresa) Aldridge, Darrell (Kathy) Aldridge and Scrappy Aldridge; two daughters-in-law, Tammy and Rhonda; one brother, Sammy Osborne; twenty-one grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Lane officiating. Burial will follow at the Family Memorial Garden, Danville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
