William Travis Canterbury, 43 of Camp Creek Road, Julian, WV, departed this life on January 22, 2025 at his residence.

He was born June 4, 1981 in Charleston, WV the son of Martha Canterbury.

He was preceded in death by one niece, Faith Ann Barnett, his grandparents, Violet & Quincy Canterbury and his in-laws, Harvey & Shelbie Murray.

Travis enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking, archery, working and spending time with family.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Canterbury; sons, Nathanael (Angel) Canterbury, Justin (Amber) Williamson and Luke Williamson; sister, Shelly (Josh) Akers; brother, James (Pamela) Canterbury; grandson, Nathanael Canterbury Jr; nieces and nephews, Daniel (Riley) Canterbury, Tiffany (Michael) Hanshaw, Kimberly Boggs, Timmy Dolin, Sydney Walker, Zack (Trista) Miles, and Heather and Qua Horne; aunt and uncles, Jacky Canterbury, Kimberly Cook and Sammy Canterbury; and a host of cousins and other extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Meadow Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Stanley Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow at the Campbell Cemetery, Hewett, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Justin, James, Nate, Josh, Luke, Jesse and Daniel.
