William Taylor Cyfers, 78 of Ranger, WV, went home to be with the Lord on November 29, 2024 at his residence.

He was born April 3, 1946 in Kiahsville, WV, the son of the late Tommy and Edna (Osborn) Cyfers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, infant brother Herbert Ray Cyfers, Jaine Bell (Jesse) Owens, Hattie Ann (Harold) Connors, Audley Otto Cyfers and Bertha Cleo (Doug) Ramey.

Taylor was a member and deacon of the Montana Freewill Baptist Church, and he was a coal miner and Vietnam Veteran.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Annabel; one son, Jerome Taylor Cyfers; one daughter, Chrystal (Darrick) Lambert; one granddaughter, Adrianna Lambert who loved and cared for her papaw until the very end; one uncle, Taylor Osborn Jr; three sisters-in-law, Violet (Tom) Neace, Patricia (Perry) Webb and Bonnie Neace; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends whom he loved.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the Montana Freewill Baptist Church at Ranger, WV with Pastor Tom Frye and Brother Bennie Dean officiating. Burial will follow at the Peaceful Mountain Cemetery, Ranger, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
