William J. McNeely

William J. McNeely, 89, of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 13, 2019.

He was born August 15, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Ruby and Fred McNeely.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie McNeely, son, David McNeely, brothers, Bob, Michael and Jim McNeely and stepson, Rick Bailey.

Bill was an Airforce veteran and loyal member of the West Logan Church of God where he was the superintendent for 22 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Donna Bailey McNeely; daughter, Patricia (Chuck) Sullivan; sons, Billy McNeely, John (Connie) McNeely, and Tom (Patty) McNeely; brothers, Glen (Sue), Danny and Freddy McNeely; sisters, Mary Huddleston, Helen Croswaite, Kathy (David) Scites and Jo Ann (Lawrence) Toler; step-daughter, Kathy Bailey Yeager; daughter-in-law, Sandy Bailey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim & Janet Bailey and Gene White; eleven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; and a host of great grandchildren, and step great grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 19, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6 – 8 pm at the the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
