Wilfred Gary Bryant

Wilfred Gary Bryant, 70, of Harts, WV, departed this life on April 28, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born June 20, 1950 in Shively, WV, the son of the late Russell Jr & Mennie Bryant.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Gary Bryant, his grandparents, George & Malindia Hensley and Russell Sr & Susan Conley Bryant, one sister, Linda Sue Adams, two brothers, William Bryant and Gordon Bryant, one sister-in-law, Maggie Bryant, and his father-in-law, Okey Adams.

Wilfred loved going to church, hunting and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Ledona Sue Bryant of Harts; four daughters, Sarah (Aaron) Thompson of Chapmanville, Ondrea Bryant of Boone, Elizabeth Evans of Chapmanville and Eva (Buck) Champion of New York; three sons, Samuel (Chassidy) Bryant of Harts, Gregory Bryant (Kayleigh Egnor) of Harts and William (Amber) Bryant of Chapmanville; fifteen grandchildren, Alicia Anseeuw, Alexandrea Lane, Maria Lane, Jennifer Evans, Madyson Evans, Ivan Evans II, Hunter Thompson, Zaylee Bryant, Patrick Bryant, William Bryant Jr, Owen Bryant, Jacob Browning, Bryson Browning, Cierra Browning and Samuel Nelson; four sisters, Brenda Bryant, Nona (Sonny) Hensley, Maria (Carlos) Roark, and Eva (Terry) Marcum; five brothers, Randall (Tina) Bryant, Jerry (Lisa) Bryant, Jeffrey (Eugenia) Bryant, Glenn Bryant and Michael (Stephanie) Bryant; his best friend, Greg Woody; and his mother-in-law, Sally Mae Adams of Chapmanville.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the Mt. Era Old General Assembly Church, Browns Run, Chapmanville, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Mt. Era Old General Assembly Church with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr and Elbert Collins Jr officiating. Burial will follow at the Bryant Cemetery, Browns Run, Chapmanville, WV.

Pallbearers will be family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home.
