Obituary
Wanda Lynn Adkins, 62 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on April 14, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center.
She was born September 13, 1960 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Bill & Beulah Adkins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, John & Lula Adkins and Erble & Clarcey Wheatley, one brother, Clifford Adkins, one sister, Charlene Adkins Bryant and three nephews, Ronald Adkins, Jason Adkins, and Zachery Bryant.
Wanda enjoyed going to church, playing games and eating out with family and friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include one sister, Marcella Rose; four brothers, Glen (Rosetta) Adkins, Billy Ray (Barbara) Adkins, Nathan Adkins, and Arden Adkins; sister-in-law, Rosetta Adkins; and a host of friends.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow at the Adkins Cemetery, Wheatley Branch, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
