Wade Allen Marcum

Wade Allen Marcum, 58, of Mt. Gay, WV, departed this life on June 21, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 27, 1963 in Logan, WV, the son of the late John & Vinie Marcum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Marcum, two sisters, Debbie Cull and Annie Ball and one brother, Boyd Marcum.

Wade enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginseng hunting, and walking around in the woods.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Tonya and Amanda; two sisters, Darlene Woody and Sarah Ball; three brothers, Ray (Edna) Marcum, Clay (Gwen) Marcum and Johnny (Carlyn) Marcum; several grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, June 27, 2022 at the funeral home with Vivie Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at Marcum Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
