Vivian Dawn Beckett, 62 of Logan, WV, departed this life on September 29, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

She was born July 14, 1963, in Champaign, IL, the daughter of Bonnie Marie Welch and the late William Riley Welch.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John Henry and Pearl Welch; maternal grandparents, Eustace and Gita Flowers; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Alice Beckett.

Dawn enjoyed holidays, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her most cherished time was spent with all her family.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Brian Beckett; daughter, Ashley Gunnells and Jenna Beckett; sons, Joshua Shane (Jessica) Chambers and Brandon Beckett; sisters, Tonya (Randy) Mclemore; grandchildren, Camry (Andrew) Freeman, Rylee Hensley, Jesse Hensley, Abbagale Stollings, Uriah Chambers, Josalyn Chambers, Brantley Atkins, Klover Meade, Easton Meade, Asher Meade and Luke Beckett; great grandchildren, Olivia and Kayce Freeman; nieces, Makayla Mclemore and Randalyn (Chris) Robertson; and great niece and nephew, Aubree and Easton Robertson.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, October 3, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Alvis Porter Jr. and Jeremy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Barker, Randy Mclemore, Jesse Hensley Andrew Freeman, Josh Chambers, Brian Beckett and Chris Robertson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Beckett.
