Virginia Browning

Virginia Browning, 65 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on September 10, 2023 at her residence.

She was born July 2, 1958 in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Auddie & Joyce Nelson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Shannon Browning, one great grandchild, Myla Dingess and one brother, Zack Nelson.

Virginia enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Joyce Johnson (Brandon Goree) and Jackie (Junebug) Dingess; two sons, Jason Browning and Jack (Charlotte) Browning; two sisters, Shelia (Mike) Fleming and Betty Baggett; four brothers, Aaron Nelson, Clinty Nelson, Ricky (Teresa) Nelson and David Nelson; eight grandchildren, Darian Browning, Amy (Isaiah) Kemp, Andrew (Janie) Dingess, Blake Dingess, Allison (Tyler) Conley, Molly Browning, Addie Browning and Emmett Browning; and ten great-grandchildren, Skylnn Browning, Kynslei Browning, Dredan Browning, Brantley Kemp, Haislee Kemp, Syrus Kemp, Peyton Wilson, Emilyn Conley, Eban Conley and Easton Conley.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the Shining Light United Baptist Church, Chapmanville, WV with Rick Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at the Lilly Cemetery, Sawmill Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be Darian Browning, Andrew Dingess, Tyler Conley, Blake Dingess, Isaiah Kemp, Junebug Dingess and Brandon Goree. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Nelson and David Nelson.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
