Trevie Richard Oney, 76 of Morristown, TN formerly of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on August 4, 2024 in Knoxville, TN.

He was born March 3, 1948 in Logan, WV the son of the late Eugene & Dorothy Oney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Lora Lee Ferrell and his in-laws, Carl & Jean Ward.

Trevie enjoyed yard work, playing with his dogs and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Virginia Oney; daughter, Jennifer Oney (Lucas) Morgan; son, Trevie R. Oney, Jr; grandchildren, Brayden Morgan, Grayson Morgan and Tyler Oney; niece Sherri (Brad) Ferrell Hager; special friend, Burt Compton; and his brother & sister-in-law, Scott and Jeannie Fleming.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30am, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV with Ronnie Linville officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
