Tolbert Hensley

Tolbert Hensley, 80, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on August 8, 2020 at his daughter's residence.

He was born March 14, 1940 in Chapmanville, WV, the son of the late Monroe and Malinda Hensley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Hensley, two sons, Tolbert Hensley Jr and Destery Hensley and one daughter, Arminnie Hensley.

Tolbert enjoyed going to church at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist where he was a member for 15 years, spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, riding four wheelers, going places and working around the house with his son-in-law.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter, Darlene (Warren) Lowe of Harts; daughter-in-law, Sandy Hensley; two grandchildren, Justin (Chelsie) Lowe and Cassie Hensley; and four great-grandchildren, Abby Lowe, Rylan Collins, Baylee Collins and Tucker Collins.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Ritchie Hensley’s yard, Browns Run, with Jimmy Carter and Tony Vance officiating. Burial will follow at the Hall – Hensley Cemetery, Browns Run.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
