Tina Mae (Stollings) Dalton Obituary

Tina Mae Stollings Dalton, 86 of Harts, WV, went home to be with the Lord on December 26, 2024, at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston, WV.


She was born October 4, 1938, in Shivley, WV, the daughter of the late James Wesley and Louflursie Stollings.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ossie “Buck” Dalton; sister, Eloise “Tootie” Hensley Addair; brother, Johnny Stollings; and son, David F. (Dollie) Dalton.


Tina was a devoted wife of Ossie “Buck” Dalton, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. She was a lifelong Freewill Baptist Christian and loved going to church whenever she had the opportunity to go. She cooked many chicken n dumpling and chili dinners for the church meetings and family gathering. She was a Sunday school teacher at Mt. Home Freewill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, worked as a door greeter at Walmart and worked as a cook at Workman's IGA. She loved her little dogs, gardening, canning, sewing and sitting on the front porch spending time with her family.


Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Dinah (Rev. David) McCloud, James (Patricia) Dalton, Wendell (Lois) Dalton, Marvin (Vicky) Dalton, Arella (Ron) Brumfield; 14 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; brothers, James Luther Stollings and Floyd Earl Stollings.


Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, December 30, 2024, at Mt. Home Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David A. McCloud officiating. Burial will follow at the Frank Dalton Cemetery, Harts, WV.


Visitation will be on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the church


Pallbearers will be family and friends
