Timothy “Timmy” Blake Newsome, 21, of Dingess WV died August 26, 2023, in Dingess, WV.
Timothy was born October 14, 2001, to Martha Elaine Newsome and the late Wade “Bud”
Adkins.
Timothy is preceded in death by his maternal mamaw Alma Colegrove, his paternal mamaw Patty Adkins, his niece/nephew Baby Endicott, his aunt Roxie Crum, his uncle Johnny Ferguson, his uncle Timothy Ferguson, his father Wade “Bud” Adkins, and his brother Donald Newsome 3 rd and great cousins Baby Emily Wellman and Baby Wellman.
Timothy is survived by his Mom Martha Elaine (Donald) McCoy, his papaws Leslie Ferguson and Ez Adkins, Sisters Jacqulyn (Kyle) Endicott, Chasity McCoy, Barbra (Marcus) Spurlock, Brothers: Tyler Adkins, Aunts: Donna Ferguson, Ann (Steve) Wellman, Uncles: Allen (Mary) Ferguson, his nephew Samuel Endicott, his nieces Amelia Endicott, Natalie Endicott, Journee Spurlock, and Sammi Spurlock, his cousins Brandon (Dee) Ferguson, Austin (Georgiana) Ferguson, Christian (Abbie) Wellman, Joshua Macon, Hunter Wellman, and great cousins, Abel Ferguson, Elias Ferguson, Joel Ferguson, Lydia Ferguson, Baby Ferguson, Baby Macon and Baby Wellman. Timothy “Timmy” had so many friends and family that adored him.
Timothy’s hobbies included chasing women (which we all know was his favorite), hunting, fishing and playing with his nieces and nephew. He was so full of life and would lighten up any room. God knows he was wild as a buck. His life was cut way to short, but the memories he left behind will be cherished forever by his family. Timothy will live on in the hearts of his mother and family forever. A big shout out to Timothy’s favorite officer, you know who you are. He loved to keep you on your toes.
For all family and friends, we are having a final ride for Timothy “Timmy” Newsome to follow him up to his final resting place. If you would like to join in with us, be at the Big Dingess Tunnel at 11 o’clock. When we come through, you may join in behind the line.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 1:00pm at Rest High on the Mountain Cemetery, Dunlow, WV with David Messer officiating.
