Thomas “Tommy” Hodge, 61 of Chapmanville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2025 after a brief illness at his cousin's residence in Chapmanville, WV.

He was born January 30, 1964 in Logan, WV the son of Delores “Jean” Hodge of North Carolina and the late Bert “Butch” Hodge.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Claude “Poker” and Thelma Hodge, and his maternal grandparents, George and Nettie Booth.

At he time of Tommy's passing he was cared for by his cousin, Raymond Prince and his wife, Sarahi and their children, Bella and Ray Jr. Prince. Tommy served in the United States Army and was a successful self-employed business man for many years.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Terry (Mike) McDowell and Rhodie (Sheldon) Bond; one brother, Timmy Hodge; aunts, Rhodetta (Bobbi) Lambert and Diana Hodge; two nieces, Ashley McDowell and Gracie Bond; his former wife, Tomalene Hodge; stepdaughter, Leah Morris; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, July 25, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Roger Ooten officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
