Thomas E. Porter
Thomas E. Porter, 84, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at his residence.
He was born June 10, 1938 in Harts,WV, the son of the late Mildred and Edward Porter.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Porter and son in law, Barry Dalton.
Thomas enjoyed fishing, watching Western's, spending time with his family, and playing his dogs Lilly and Daisy.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Angela Dalton of Harts, WV, two sons, Jeff (Lori) Porter and Jerry (Angie) Porter all of Hart's, WV, one brother, Emmitt (Deloris) Porter of Cleveland, OH, grandchildren, Anthony Dalton, Jeremy (Kayla) Porter, Michael Porter, Tyler Dalton, Ryan (Halley) Porter, and Latisha (Brian) Vannatter, great grandchildren, Carson Porter, Paisley Porter, Kimber Porter, and Aadlyn Vannater.
Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, May 12, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Dalton Browning Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
