Theora “Thea” Fillinger, 84 of Harts, WV, departed this life on December 29, 2025 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV.

She was born January 12, 1941 in Chapmanville, WV the daughter of the late Lloyd and Maude Bryant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fillinger, daughter, Jennifer Fillinger, and sons, Mark Fillinger and Calvin Fillinger.

Thea enjoyed watching soap operas, sitting on the porch in rocking chairs, driving her car and listening to good music.

Those left to cherish her memory one sister, Florida “Flo” White; seven grandchildren, Robert Fillinger, Brandon & Holly Fillinger, Timothy Fillinger, Brian Fillinger, Zachary Fillinger, Aleczander Fillinger, and Destanee Fillinger; nine great grandchildren, Brendan Fillinger, Violet Fillinger, Aidan Fillinger, Coabriel Fillinger, Sara Fillinger, Sophia Fillinger, T.J. Fillinger, Robert St. Cere and Skyla St. Cere; nieces, Ida Walls, and Tammy Smalley; and nephew Larry White.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00, Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Sally Conley Cemetery in Chapmanville with Pastor Bobby Carter officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary pallbearer is Brandon Fillinger.
