Susan Claire Browning

Susan Claire Browning, 64 of Turkey Creek, Ky, departed this life on July 7, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington, Ky.

She was born July 20, 1956 in Sandusky, OH the daughter of the late Wesley & Betty Harris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frank & Nellie Burdue and Archie & Clara Harris and her father and mother-in-law, Wilson & Polly Browning.

Sue enjoyed cross-stitching, camping, bird watching, watching football, board games, reading, and playing with her grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jimmie Browning; one daughter, Ashley Browning & Tyler McClure of Knoxville, TN; one son, James Browning of Pikeville, KY; one sister, Karen & Donnie Shirley of Palm Bay, FL; and two grandchildren, Bailey Browning and Logan Browning.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Monday, July 12, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Browning Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Friends may call Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Browning, Christopher Browning, James Browning, Kennith Allen Browning, Matthew Browning and Wilson Browning.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler McClure, Donnie Shirley, Tyler Browning and Carl Fields.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Back to the Wild, 4504 Bardshar Road, Castalia, OH 44824 or to the American Cancer Society.
