Summer Rose Lambert

Summer Rose Lambert, 15 of Harts, WV, departed this life on November 29, 2022 at the Sango Hospital, in Clarksville, TN. She was a patient at the Oak Plains Academy.

She was born May 31, 2007 in Huntington, WV the daughter of Michael and Carolyn Lambert of Harts, WV.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Janet Thompson.

Summer loved to read books, do puzzles, play with her dog Bella and cat Smokey. She also loved doing crafts with Heather and loved to swim in her pool.

In addition to her parents, Michael and Carolyn, those left to cherish her memory include two sisters, Heather Jo Lambert of Harts and Faith Stanley of Barboursville; grandparents, Wilma Adams of Chapmanville and Joe & Debbie Lambert of Harts; her aunts and uncles, Belinda & Buddy Beard of Virginia, Ronald & Missy Thompson and Bobbi Smith of Harts; cousins, Jonathan, Cody, Tiffany, Tessa, Megan, Brooklyn, Elizabeth, Breanna and Shawnee; special counselor, Kim Socha; and two special little friends, Pax and Lola Bryant.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, December 9, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Michael Browning and Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Keyser Family Cemetery at Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 6:30pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike, Cody, Jonathan, Buddy, Joe, Ercel and Stevie.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
