Steven Arthur Stamper

Steven Arthur Stamper, 56, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on September 30, 2021 at his residence.

He was born September 23, 1965 in Abilene, TX, the son of Phyllis Stamper and the late Arthur Stamper.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Stamper, grandparents, Jessie & Esta McKinney and his sister, Anita Stamper.

Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his grandchildren with everything in him.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Ashley Stamper (Berthal Richards), and Rachele Stamper; one son, Steven Stamper (Lyndsey Armentrout); one sister, Tammy Stamper; four grandchildren, Nathan Bryant, Calvin Richards, Jayda Woods and Winter Sage; special friends, David White and Eric Bryant; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Barry Stowers officiating. Burial will follow at the Restful Gardens Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
