Steve Griffith, 66 of Danville, WV, departed this life on March 3, 2025 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born November 11, 1958 in Madison, WV the son of the late Clarence Griffith and Lucinda (Powers) Griffith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Griffith.

Steve was a member of the Danville Fire Department for 48 years.  He enjoyed fishing and worked for Dominion Energy.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Clara Griffith and Linda Fowler; Jordan Dingess who was like a son; and a host of nieces, great nieces and great-great nieces.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, March 10, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jeff Mosteller officiating. Burial will follow at the Griffith Cemetery, in Danville, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Dingess and the Danville Fire Department.
