Obituary

Stephanie Lynn Dowdy, 38 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 29, 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 8, 1983 in Logan, WV the daughter of Keith Allen and Pamela Dowdy.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jaxon Cash Lucas and her grandparents, Fred & Doris Abbott, and Lawrence & Janie Dowdy.

Stephanie enjoyed four wheeling, having yard sales, spending time with her daughter, family and friends and going to ballgames to watch her daughter cheer.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sophya Lucas; and the father of her daughter, Joshua Lucas. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and her special friends, Briana Bryant, Tanya Hager, Sam & Sasha Clemens and numerous other friends.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Paul Artist officiating. Burial will follow at the Conley Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
