Shirley Ann Tate, 64 of Logan, WV, departed this life on August 28, 2021 at her residence.
She was born June 26, 1957 in Logan, WV the daughter of Ethel Irene Browning Riffe and Hunky Riffe.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion Ronnie Anderson, one daughter, Jennifer and one sister, Charlotte (Danny) Young.
Shirley loved her animals, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking for people when she was able, watching Sci-Fi, horror movies, doing puzzles online and playing solitaire. Shirley always welcomed anyone who came to her house with a big smile and a hug. She loved her sons with all her heart. Shirley was a wonderful caregiver to her mother-in-law and her companion. She loved reminiscing about her younger years, riding horses and spending time with her friends.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Ronnie (Amy) Anderson; William (Ashley) Tate and Josh (Kayla) Tate; seven grandchildren, Miranda (Charley) Lackey, Destine (Jacob) Stover, Waylon Woody, Madison Woody, Caiden Tate, Veranna Ball and Ruby Ball; five great grandchildren, Adalynn, Brycen, Cayslie, Hazel and Veralynn; one sister, Vernie (Mossie) Ellis; and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law that she loved dearly.
