Sherry Marie Dingess

Sherry Marie Dingess, 55 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on May 15, 2021 at her residence.

She was born July 19, 1965 in Logan, WV, the daughter of the late Freeland and Irene Whitt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Whitt and Rufus Whitt, brother-in-law, Tracie Dingess and her father and mother-in-law, Clyde and Lissie Dingess.

Sherry enjoyed going to the beach, traveling and shopping. Her grandson Jaxson was her world.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jasper Dingess, Sr; one daughter, Tiffany (Johnny) Dingess; one son, Jasper Freeman (Sharon) Dingess; six sisters, Brenda (Ira) Bryant, Peggy (Rodney) Holman, Joan (Miller) Dempsey, Joyce (Norman) Mines, Wilma Dingess and Tammy Fritz; one brother, Ronald (Becky) Whitt; and one grandson, Jaxson.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Hensley Cemetery, Crawley Creek, Chapmanville, WV with Rick Conley officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
