Sherman “Bub” Evans, 46 of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.

He was born September 28, 1978, in Logan, WV, the son of Minnie Faye Evans and the late Danny Dale Evans.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Tracy Dale Evans and his sister, Mindy Renee Adkins.

Bub enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Samantha Rose Evans, Madison Lynn Evans, and Clarissa Faye Evans; brother, Travis (Melinda) Evans; special friend, Zach Baldwin and Tracy Adkins; and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Dennie Evans officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the funeral home.
