Shelia Ann Maynard Browning

Shelia Ann Maynard Browning, 60 of Harts, WV, went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2021 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, WV, after a courageous battle with cancer. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

She was born June 21, 1961 in West Hamlin, WV the daughter of the late Burgess & Martha (Adkins) Burton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ed Burton and Wes Burton, one sister, Joyce Frazier, very special aunt, Ora Adkins and her son-in-law, Chad Carter.

Shelia enjoyed being at home, spending time with her grandkids, and spoiling her dog “Pebbles”. She was the manager of Pizza Hut for 36 years.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Stephanie Ann Carter and Stacy Amber Bell and her husband, Jeff; two sisters, Wanda Faye Frye and Debbie Zuspan; two brothers, Ralph Burton and Jerry Burton and his wife, Delores; five grandchildren, Stephen Cole, Sydney Alexis, Aubrey Anna Mae, Ryan Garrett and Evan Douglas; the father of her children, Steve Maynard; her special friends, James & Debbie Bell and Jimmy & Jane Carter; and a host of extended family and friends.

Services will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Frankie Frye and Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may call Monday, August 30, 2021 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.
