Sheila Roberson Basadre, 58 of Milton, WV, departed this life on July 21, 2024 at her residence.

She was born September 13, 1965 in Man, WV the daughter of the late Daisy Laura Roberson.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Gore, and two nieces, Jessica Lynn Roberson and Amara Jane Parsons.

Sheila loved going to the beach, traveling, shopping and all animals.

Those left to cherish her memory include her companion, James “Jimmy” Jeffers; stepsons, Derek Basadre and Austin Basadre; half-sisters, Mary (Tubby) Workman, Kathy Townsend and Carolyn White; half-brothers, Jerry Roberson, Bill Bailey and Floyd Kelley; step grandchildren, Eli Austin Basadre and Charlie Joseph Mon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Workman-Thacker Cemetery, Branchland, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 28, 2024 from 12:00pm until 2:30pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Derek Basadre, Austin Basadre, Dustin Workman, Scotty Workman, Matt Workman and Floyd Kelley.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
