Shawn Delenore Dempsey

Shawn Delenore Dempsey, 32, of Verdunville, WV, departed this life on October 18, 2021 at Dingess, WV.

He was born January 1, 1989 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Shawn & Karen Sue Dempsey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Franklin Delenore Hall, Jack & Elizabeth (Bryant) Dempsey, sister, Amber Bush, uncles, Sheldon, Tim, Phil, Danny and Billy Dempsey, Timothy and Franklin James Hall, aunt Carol Ann Dempsey and cousins, Allan and Daniel.

Shawn enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his grandmother, Willie Ruby Hall; one daughter, Annabelle Suzann Faith Dempsey; one brother, Jack Dempsey; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church with Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Dempsey Family Cemetery, Verdunville, WV.

Friends may call Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Dingess, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
