Sharon Lee Collier

Sharon Lee Collier, 70, of Dingess, WV, departed this life on November 23, 2021 surrounded by family at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 10, 1951 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Chester Underwood and Patricia Finley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arland & Ava Underwood and her in-laws, Per & Christine Hensley.

Sharon devoted her time to her family, especially her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. She enjoyed traveling, and she spent a lot of time at her kids and grandkids school activities and sporting events.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Kennith Collier; two daughters, Kimberly (Jerry) Wellman and Vickie (Anthony) Baisden; five grandchildren, Ashley Hall, Brad Browning, Shane Nelson, Kayla (Zachary) Sheppard and Cody (Amber) McCloud; eight great-grandchildren, Linsie Hall, Mason Browning, Madison Browning, Kylee Nelson, Braylon Sheppard, Tristan Sheppard, Alayna McCloud and Colton McCloud; two sisters, Debra (Rickie) Gillman and Tammy (Matt) Colegrove; two brothers, Mike (Leslie) Underwood and Jeffrey Finley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church, Dingess, WV with Art Baisden and Darrell Newsome officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the church.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
