Shannon Akers Obituary

Shannon D. Akers, 54 of Lake,WV, departed this life on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Logan Regional
Medical Center.
He was born April 26, 1970 in Logan, WV the son of the late Jack and Joan Akers.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Marlyn Lewis; brothers, Erick Akers and Jack
Akers II.
Those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Debrah Nelson; son, Joshua D. Akers; sisters,
Debra Robinson, Barbara (Larry) Brown, Jacqueline Bias, and “Lisa” Jo-Ann Meadows; and one brother
Travis Akers.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements
