Scott Douglas Soler, 71 of Logan, WV, departed this life on October 17, 2024, at his residence with family by his side.

He was born September 14, 1953, in Logan, WV the son of the late Elmer and Violet Soler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tony Soler, grandsons, Harry and Brian Breece and his mother-in-law, Berdie Jones.

Scott enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing basketball, old cars, and collecting guns and coins. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Brenda Soler; daughters, Shannon (Pete) Hedrick, Kandis (Steven) Steele, Britany Soler, Kristie Jones, Sandra (Dallas) Wiley and Wanda Frake; son, Jimmy Jones; sisters, Sue (Moe) Pennington, Lynn (Ronald) Adkins, Sharon Stanford, Phyllis Soler and Sheryl Holstein; grandchildren, Nate, Sarah, Harper, Ty, Kinley, Evie, Erica, Tiffany, Kirsten, Sarah, Elizabeth, Jessica, Shawn, Hannah and Chase; his great grandchildren, Liam, August, Presley, Beau, Robert II and Stetson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter officiating.
