Sandra Lee Welch, 71, of Ranger, WV, formerly of White Sulphur Springs, WV departed this life on Friday, September 18, 2020 at St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was born September 17, 1949 in Hot Springs, WV, the daughter of the late Howard Manard Welch And Mae Lester Welch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Wayne Welch; three sisters, Debra Lynn Welch, Brenda Moats, and Rhonda Welch; and her grandparents, Howard A. Welch & Neola Jack Welch and Henry H. Lester & Irene Summers Lester.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Pastor Bobbie Jo (Jim) Gardner of Montrey, VA, Shannon (Roger) Pullen of Waynesboro, VA, Sue (Virgil) Moats of Granite Falls, NC, Paula (Wayne) Conner of Millboro, VA, and Annette & Gerald (Hoot) Feury that she made her home with for the last 30 years; a very special niece that assisted with her care, Brittni-Ann Feury; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Sandy was limited in life by an accident at the age of 3, but she loved visiting with family and friends. She always gifted them with a picture that she drew or colored especially for them. She loved Survivor and could tell you every show. She also loved babies and delighted in 19 nieces and nephews and several great- nieces and nephews.
Sandy will be cremated and a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be buried beside her parents and her siblings in Carloover, VA.
