Sally Mae Adams, 88, of Crawley Creek of Chapmanville, WV departed this life at her home on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Nellie Adams, her loving husband, Oakey Adams, her son in law Wilfred Bryant, her daughter in law Linda Sue Adams, her grandson Keith Bryant, her great grandson Walker Adkins, 5 brothers, and 5 sisters.

Sally loved spending time with her family, playing games with her grandkids, and crocheting. She was a beacon of kindness and love, always lighting up any room with her beautiful smile. Her warmth and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. The love she showed for others was truly inspiring.

Those left to cherish her memory include her 3 daughters Ledona Bryant of Harts, Lucy (Ed) Wellman of Smokehouse, and Marsha Adams of Crawley, 6 sons Donnie (Lois) Adams of KY, Steve (Sherry) Adams of Crawley, Ricky (Peggy) Adams of Smokehouse, Okey Adams, Curly Adams, and Ronald Adams all of Crawley, 18 grandchildren Ondrea, William (Amber), Elizabeth, Samuel (Chass), Sarah, Gregory (Kayleigh), Melissa (Steve), Lisa (Shane), Teresa, Joe (Becky), Jason, Angie (Rob), Ashley (Peep), Okey (Courtney), Victor (Angie), Skyler, Joshua, and Justin, 29 great grandchildren Lexi, Maria, Patrick, William Jr., Owen, Jennifer, Ivan, Madyson, Zaylee, Macy, Hunter, Lilly, Melanie, Melinda, Michelle, Ethan, Olivia, Lilah, Little Joe, Jayson, Amelia, Brooklyn, Hunter, Makayla, Hayden, Ryder, Chase, Scout, and Ridge, one great great grandchild Cecilia, one sister, Carrie Raffel, and one sister in law Belva Workman.

Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 15, 2025 with Rev. Jimmy Carter officiating, Burial will follow at the Hager-Adams Cemetery, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Adams, Curly Adams, Okey Adams, Steve Adams, Donnie Adams, and Ricky Adams.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Freeman Funeral Home.
