Russell Allen Davidson

Russell Allen Davidson, 63, of Piney Fork, Harts, WV, departed this life on January 5, 2021 at his residence.

He was born January 25, 1957, the son of the late Ivan Davidson & Lucille Chapman Davidson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip Davidson, and Jimmie Davidson and his grandparents, Walter & Ivy Maude Chapman and Sherman & Rose Davidson.

Russel enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Kathy Stollings; four children, Sherman Davidson, James Davidson, Savannah Davidson and Rodney Adams; and three sisters, Sandra & Chris Chafin, Rosa & Dana Lusher, and Carolyn & George Frye; and sister-in-law, Wanda Davidson.

Services will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, January 11, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Joe Triplett officiating. Burial will follow at the Chapman Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Frye, Adam Chafin and Wyatt Frye.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
