Ruby Mae Anderson

Ruby Mae Anderson, 79 of Jeffrey, WV, departed this life on September 14, 2020 at CAMC General, Charleston, WV.

She was born May 5, 1941 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late James “Tom” & Verna Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Anderson, son, Jerry Anderson, daughter, Mary Anderson, grandsons, Leon Walker III and Joey Anderson and sister, Faye Helbert.

Ruby loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, dancing and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Judy & Albert Conley, Patty Fleming & Larry Law and Judy Jones Anderson; two brothers, James & Judy Thomas and Harold Cooper; grandchildren, Oliver & Melissa Walker, Lisa & Charles Hawkins, James & Jessica Anderson, Albert III, Melissa Anderson & Jerry, Jessica, AJ Anderson, Stephine Anderson, Joshua Jones & Tiffany; twenty eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and one great grandbaby on the way that she was happy about; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Lane and Rev. Paul Little officiating. Burial will follow at the Family Memorial Gardens, Danville, WV.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
