Ronnie Allen Dalton

Ronnie Allen Dalton, 57, of Harts, WV, departed this life on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Dignity Hospice House, Chapmanville, WV.

He was born December 24, 1961 in Logan, WV, a son of the late Freelin and Eva (Fillinger) Dalton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Annie Dalton, and Felix and Virgie Fillinger, two sisters, Avanell Kirk and Kathy Berry and two nephews, Phillip Conley and Freelin Ray Berry.

Ronnie enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors and working in the garage and his garden.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Gloria Dalton of Harts; one daughter, Michele Dalton and one son, Austin Dalton, both of Virginia; three step-daughters, Amanda Coil, Jodi Coil and Abby Coil all of Ohio; one step-son, Joshua Shroeder of Ohio; two sisters, Tammy Dalton of Maryland and Debbie Frye of West Virginia; one brother, Stanley Dalton of North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Cheryl Dalton of North Carolina; and three brothers-in-law, Frank Frye, Doug Kirk and Ray Berry all of West Virginia.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 18, 2019 at Freeman Funeral Home with Jimmy Carter and Van Collins officiating. Burial will follow at the Freelin Dalton Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
