Ronnie Junior Cooper

Ronnie Junior Cooper, 55, of Whitman, WV, departed this life on January 15, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 23, 1964 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Albert Junior Cooper and Virginia Francis Cooper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Timmy Cooper and one sister, Gloria Lynn Cooper.

Ronnie enjoyed anything outdoors, including fishing, riding 4-wheelers, and cooking out. He also enjoyed watching sports and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two children, Ronnie A. Cooper and Tasha L. Cooper; four brothers, Albert (Pamela) Cooper, Rickey (Mary Elizabeth) Cooper, Jerry Cooper and Roger Dale (Joan) Cooper; six grandchildren, Jazzlynn Avery Cooper, Paisley Grace Cooper, Harry Keith White, Kylie Lynn Jarrell, Gabriel Luke Jarrell and Bently Zane Cooper; a special nephew, Dennis “PJ” Cooper; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Treaby Scaggs officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
