Ronnie Steve Ball, 80, of Big Ugly Creek Road, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on April 26, 2021 at Boone Memorial Hospital.
He was born September 22, 1940 in Madison, WV, the son of the late Elmer Clyde and Gladys Ball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Suzanna Miller; one son, Gary Ball; two sisters, Helen Quayle and Nola Fay Gee; and one brother, Jimmy Ball.
Steve loved and adored his wife, Nina. He loved and welcomed everyone into his home, and never wanted anyone to leave hungry. Steve also enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with friends and loved ones. He was known as an incredibly hard worker and long-time electrician in the coal mines.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Nina Ball; four daughters, Kathy Faries, Renae Tewksbury-White, Jacqueline Rogers-Miller, and Stephanie Ball Waters; two sons, Danny Ball and Steve “Randy” Ball, retired Captain in the USAF NC; one sister, Linda Coers; one brother, Danny Ball; grandchildren, Timmy Jarrell, Kristy Fairbrother, Tabitha Fairbrother, Mitchell Tewksbury, Cassondra Ball, Gage Miller, Sydney Davis, Jaxson Miller, James Ball and Sophia Waters; and a host of great grandchildren.
