Ronald Lee Blankenship Sr

Ronald Lee Blankenship, Sr. 79 of Big Creek, WV, departed this life on October 12, 2025 at his residence.

He was born July 25, 1946 in Logan, WV the son of the late William Oakey Blankenship and Mary Messer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Oakey Richard Blankenship and sister, Mary E. Messer.

Ronnie enjoyed tinkering, working around the property and working on cars.

Those left to cherish his memory include his former wife, Rebecca Blankenship; daughter, Misty Dawn (Joe) Mrozowski; sons, Ronald Lee (Crystal) Blankenship Jr, Dustin Ray Vickers and Andrew Waylon Hager; stepdaughters, Andrea Hager and Chesitty Hager; brother, Mickey (Joni) Blankenship; grandchildren, Noah Hager, Caleb Miles Blankenship, Ryan Calvin Blankenship, Josh Dakota Vance, Jonathon Kyle Blankenship (Katie); great-grandchildren, Nolan Ranzie Blankenship, Emilia Bea Blankenship, Joseph Mroziwski, Misti Delta Dawn Mroziwski, Joey Michael Mroziwski, and Addison Lee Mroziwski; special nephew, Jeff Messer; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home with Arlie Bush officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
