Ronald Gene Belcher, 68 of Ellis Fork, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Cleveland, OH surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born August 14, 1956 in Hamlin, WV the son of the late Bill and Melfa Belcher.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Glenna Bryant, Creola Thomas and Judy Dowdy, three brothers, “Little” Doug Belcher, Bob Vance and Fred Vance and two stepsons, Shawn Dingess and Dwight Dingess.

Ronnie was a coal miner for many years, but his passion was farming and enjoying time with the love of his life Christene. He loved coon hunting and was a friend to many. Ronnie never met a stranger; his smile and personality could light up the room no matter where he was.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Christene Belcher; brothers, Billy Ray Belcher, Gary Belcher and Jr. Vance; sisters, Charlotte Clark, Debra Gore, Elisa Belcher and Mary Fulton; son, Dennis (Cassandra) Belcher; daughter, Nickie (David) Woody; stepdaughter, Deidra Dingess; granddaughters, Tiffany Sanders, Aspen Belcher, Hannah Hall, Destiny Dingess, Alexis Dingess and KK Dingess; grandsons, Caiden Belcher, Stefan Dingess and Austin Dingess; great granddaughters, Bayleigh Mosteller, Charlee Sanders and Haddie Sanders; his special friend, Mitch Hensley of Lenore, WV whom Ronnie loved and was always there to help with whatever he needed; his coon hunting buddy, Joshua Cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Belcher Cemetery, Ellis Fork, Chapmanville, WV with David Sperry officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
