Roger Dale Watts

Roger Dale Watts, 67, of Harts, WV, departed this life on April 27, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 13, 1954 in West Hamlin, WV, the son of the late Thurman and Maxine Watts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Watts, son, Anthony Watts, brother, Steven Watts, sister, Gaynelle Boling, brother-in-law, Frank Fulton and half brother, Lonnie Brumfield.

Roger enjoyed going to church, and spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Julie (Orla) Hager; two sisters, Davanna (Bob) Duty and Molly Fulton; one brother, Randall (Sharon) Watts; two grandchildren, Kirstein Hager and Wesley Watts; and his nieces and nephews, Delores (Denny) Kessler, Natasha (Mike) Duty, Brandy (Eric) Meadows, Hope Fulton, Katrina Watts, Kristal (Darren) Finley, Jeremy (April) Fulton, Randall (Tanya) Watts, Shawn Watts and Eddie Watts.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Guyan Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at the Everett & Polly Browning Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make memorial contributions to Freeman Funeral Home to help with arrangements.
