Roger Dale Mullins, 76, of West Fork, Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on April 27, 2021 at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was born January 19, 1945 in Harts, WV, the son of the late Louie Mullins and Eunice Adams Mullins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Carolyn Farley Mullins, grandparents, Ewell & Bertha Mullins, and George & Queenie Adams, sister, Mavis, brothers, Harold and Darrell and his in-laws, Allen & Anna Farley.
Roger enjoyed his grandchildren, gardening, tinkering with all things electrical and mechanical. He loved studying the Bible in relation to history. Going to church at White Oak Church was the highlight of his past few years. He also loved a good prank.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Sabra Mullins of West Fork of Chapmanville; son, Ewell Allen (Angel) Mullins of Clarksville, TN; brothers, Gregory Paul Mullins of Harts and Curtis Adams who was like a brother; sisters-in-law, Laura Mullins of Hartland, MI and Diane Farley of Newark, OH; grandchildren, Jessica Hobbs-Mullins of Salisbury, NC, Ian Dingess of Augusta, GA, Grace (Blake) Workman of Chapmanville and Autumn Hobbs Mullins of Salisbury, NC; great-grandchildren, Zaylee Dingess and Raegan Workman of Chapmanville, WV; a host of nieces and nephews; his beloved cousin, Chanel Farley who was like a daughter, niece Jackie Warner who supplied his bacon, and Mitchell Hensley who helped him tinker.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, May 3, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Manasses Hensley Jr officiating. Burial will follow at the Stratt Gore Cemetery, West Fork, Chapmanville, WV.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 3, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Darrell Mullins, Louie Mullins, Ian Dingess, Blake Workman and Grace Workman.
