Roger served his country in the Vietnam War. Though he came home shattered, he did not let that keep him down. He faced life with strength and resilience, building a life filled with love, family, and the simple joys that mattered most. He was a man who loved the outdoors and found peace in the woods. Roger enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting, and bear hunting, and he especially cherished the times he spent hunting with his brother-in-law, Curtis. Those moments brought him happiness and memories that his loved ones will forever hold dear. He will be remembered for his courage, his love for his family, and the kindness and humor he shared with everyone around him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Gone hunting in heaven’s woods, forever in our hearts.
