Roger Dean Blevins, 66 of Danville, WV, departed this life on Friday, September 5, 2025, at CAMC General Hospital, Charleston, WV.

He was born August 28, 1959, in Mullen, WV, the son of the late Bailey and Junie Blevins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell Blevins and Glen Blevins; two sisters-in-law, Geneva Blevins and Brenda Mitchem; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Annie Farley.

Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Darlene Blevins; one daughter, Kimberly (Allen) Noll; three sons, Roger “Pep” (Ollie) Blevins, Chris (Amy) Blevins, and Jamie (Marie) Blevins; four sisters, Pat Dingess, Sharon Blevins, Mary Mullins, and Betty (Clifford) Hensley; two brothers, Billy Blevins and Bert Blevins; nine grandchildren, Lance Sanders, Felicia Sanders, Brandon Sanders, Seth Blevins, Jessica Hayley Noll, Kenna Noll, Camron Evans, Kiersten Blevins, and Camilla Clevenger; and four great-grandchildren, Damien Frantz, Autumn Rose, Summer Rain, and Richard “Bubba” Clevenger.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home with Doug Cline officiating. Burial will follow at the Farley Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
