Roger Dale Albright

Roger Dale Albright, 66, of Robinson, WV, departed this life on September 21, 2021.

He was born July 18, 1955 in Prenter, WV, the son of the late Clarence and Margaret Albright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Brett Albright, grandparents, George & Roxie Albright and Roscoe & Mildred McComas, infant brother, Harold Lee Albright; his sister, Sandra “Kay” Galliher; and his nephew, Dennis Cook.

Roger loved the Lord and faithfully attended Prayer Connection Lighthouse Holiness Church. He loved to get in on a good trade and enjoyed tinkering on vehicles. Roger was very kind, loving and giving. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. Roger enjoyed driving the wrecker that was part of his everyday life, he spent countless hours on the road.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Tonia & Jason Elkins; three sons, Scotty & Carlina Albright, Alan & Marlena Albright, and Mark & Rhoda Albright; six sisters, Luanna Wagoner, Fran & Bob Oakes, Ruby & Robert Smith, Geraldine Beard, Jenny & Marty Gallaher and Trish & Johnny Adkins; two brothers, Tommy & Debbie Albright and Mike Albright; nine grandchildren, Michael Miracle, Adam Albright, Devin Aldridge, Val & Donnie Miller, Cecily & Josh Pauley Emily Holton, Reece Elkins, Keylea Elkins, and Zayla Elkins,; four great-grandchildren, Alexis Miller, Kyrsten Miller, Triston Pauley and Aria Pauley; one great-great grandchild, Lila Stollings; his boss and friend of 40+ years, Roger Green; and his friend and mother of his boys, Phyllis Whitten; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the Prayer Connection Lighthouse Holiness Church, Danville, WV with Mark Meeker officiating. Burial will follow at the Albright Cemetery, Hewett, WV.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the church.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
