Rodney Michael Watts, 58 of Harts, WV, departed this life on June 3, 2024 at his residence.
He was born November 21, 1965 in Huntington, WV the son of Raymond and Essie Watts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Sheleise Watts and his grandparents, John & Stellia Watts and Robert & Pearlie Fugate.
Rodney enjoyed music, reading and spending time with his family and pets.
In addition to his parents Raymond & Essie, those left to cherish his memory include four daughters, Candice Watts (Brandon Reed), Madison (Tyler) Thompson, Heather Watts and Destiney (Jaden) Fraley; one son, Adam (Melissa) Watts; two sisters, Sheila Farmer and Sherry (Tommy) Workman; one brother, Raymond (Anne) Watts Jr; four grandchildren, Scarlett Watts, Grayson Butcher, Zayden Butcher and Emery Butcher; his mother-in-law, Judy Nobles; ex-wife, Dreama Hatfield; honorary son, Maverick Hatfield; nephews and nieces, Justin (Kim) Farmer, Jessica (Alex) Westervelt, Nicolas Watts, Cody Farmer, and Brianna Farmer; special great nieces and nephews, Claire, Hannah, Abigail, and Alex Westervelt; and a host of other family and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Freeman Funeral Home with Eric “Tubby” Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at the Pack Cemetery, Harts, WV.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Freeman Funeral Home, to help with the arrangements.
