Robin Lynn (Kirk) Tomblin

Robin Lynn (Kirk) Tomblin, 56 of Harts, WV, departed this life on May 2, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY.   

She was born October 4, 1963 in Huntington, WV the daughter of the late Golden and Wanda Kirk. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James & Ruby Davis, and Buster & Gladys Kirk and her in-laws, Clabe & Tootsie Tomblin. 

Robin enjoyed going to church. She loved fishing riding the side by side and spending time with her grandchildren.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Terry D. Tomblin; one daughter, Tarra Browning and her husband, Ryan; one brother, Dwight Kirk and his wife Brenda; three grandchildren, James and Harley Stevens and Matthew Browning; her best friends, Karon Parsons, Beverly Dalton, Jackie Smith, and Lisa Ramey; and a host of family and friends. 

Due to the CDC and the State's recent mandate on public gatherings, related to COVID-19, only 25 people or less are permitted at the services. 

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Carter officiating. Burial will follow at the Dalton Browning Memorial Garden, Harts, WV. 

There will be a walk-through visitation on Thursday, May 7, 2020 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Daren Williams, Harold Mullins, Craig Headly, Jeff Stevens, James Stevens and Joe Tripplett.

Honorary pallbearers will be, Anthony Lambert, Thomas Kirk and John Dingess. 

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
