Robert Lee Simms

Robert Lee Simms, 60 of Logan, WV, departed this life on August 17, 2024 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born November 12, 1963 in Logan, WV, the son of the late Bufford and Mary Lou Simms.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edna Ellis and special friend, Brenda Grimmett.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his dogs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Joann Marie Simms; son, Dustin Lee Simms; sisters, Belinda Lawrence and Rose Gibson; three grandchildren; four nephews, Richard Lawrence, Derrick Gibson, Ronnie Marcum III and Kevin Lawrence; two nieces, Teara Marcum and Natasha Morgan; and 16 great nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
