Ricky Wayne Eskins

Ricky Wayne Eskins, 65, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on October 10, 2020 at at his residence.

He was born July 30, 1955 in Logan, WV, the son of Johnny Eskins and Irene Adams Eskins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tollie Mullins and Sallie Adams and Rad and Lena Eskins, brother, Richard Tollie Eskins and his in-laws, Noah & Erma Hensley.

Ricky enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing with his grandbabies.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda Hensley Eskins; four daughters, Jennifer Evans, Sharon Oglesby, Kamala Fiffe and Stacy Maine; one son, Tony (Davina) Purkey; one sister, Carolyn (Gary) Morris; four brothers, David (Delilah) Eskins, Terry (Debbie) Eskins, Johnny (Jamii) Eskins and Tommy Eskins; nine grandchildren, Kaci Evans, Jessi Adams, Lydia Hope Vanatter, Anthony Smith, Austin Oglesby, Noah Cook, Miranda Nagy, Brandi Purkey and Jami Maine; and ten great grandchildren, Cameron Woody, Easton Woody, Hunter Bryant, Zoe Purkey, Morgan Bryant, Zena Woody, Bransen Lambert, Gauge Smith, Braxton Cook and Wyatt Hensley.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Freeman Funeral Home with Harry J. Dingess and Bill Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
