Ricky Lee Bailey

Ricky Lee Bailey, 61, of Chapmanville, WV, departed this life on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Charleston, WV.

He was born September 21, 1956 in Logan, WV a son of Donna Bailey (Bill) McNeely of Chapmanville, WV and the late Memphis Palmroy Bailey.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Newson & Nellie Bailey and Ollie & Lucy McComas.

Ricky enjoyed fishing, basketball, coaching, football, motorcycles, traveling WV and spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his companion, Nora Lee Hicks; one daughter, Stephanie Jean Bailey; three sons, Ricky Lee (Tina) Bailey, Steven Lee (Shawnica) Bailey, and Christopher Lee (Faydra) Bailey; one step daughter, Hope Hicks; one sister, Kathy Denise Yeager; eight grandchildren, Logan Tyler Bailey, Tanner Dean Hill, Koleigh Elizabeth Bailey, Paxton Lee Bailey, Kambree Mae Bailey, Baylee Brooke Dalton, Cohen Memphis Bailey and Brittany Slazo; mother of his children, Sandy Bailey two uncles, Jim Bailey and Gene White; one aunt, Janet Bailey; and two nieces, Cortney and Whitney Yeager.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Scottie Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Friends may call Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
